 German manufacturer Eisch Glaskulture has developed a new revolution in wine glass technology, the breathable glass. These glasses have undergone an oxygenization treatment which results in the bouquet and aromas in wine opening up within only a few minutes of pouring. This same effect usually requires from 1-2 hours of decanting. Eisch breathable glasses are made in leadfree crystal. 
  The lotus leaf as a model from nature. The leaves of the lotus flower always are perfectly clean. This self-cleaning effect was examined scientifically, and is due to a special so-called super-hydrophobic surface quality of the lotus leaf. Because of surface tension, a liquid drop contracts to a ball that runs off without any residue. With the NO DROP EFFECT, the Eisch glass factory now for the first time utilizes this effect for consumer glassware: It is employed to avoid undesirable drops when pouring drinks from carafes and duck decanters. With Eisch decanters you no longer have to worry about dripping red wine on your white tablecloth. The mouth of each No-drip decanter has been treated with a patented process. You have to see it to believe it! Capacity of each decanter may vary from what is published due to design and mouth/hand blown craftsmanship.
